Shanick Engineering Co Limited is a medium sized company specialising in the precision machining of small components.
The company was founded in Bognor Regis in 1972 by the former chairman, Mr H.J. Cox, and has since grown, moving to larger premises three times. It now employs 14 staff, operating from freehold premises on the South Bersted Industrial Estate, in Bognor Regis.
By pursuing a policy of producing components of such standard as to meet, or exceed, customers’ specified requirements the Company has acquired a reputation of quality and reliability of service and has established customers in Aerospace and defence industries, primarily machining to tight limits on exotic materials. The company is also able to respond very quickly to urgent requests.
The Company has also followed a policy of re-inventing profits back into business by purchasing the latest machine tool technology. This has enabled the Company to continually improve productivity and response time without increasing the base cost.
We recognise that the demand throughout the industry is now for products and services of assured quality, which can be delivered on time and accepted with confidence. To this end, the Company has developed a quality system based on experience and the requirements of our customers.
